Hagoromo - Story of angel legend

- Story in short -

Angel descends to the earth on the beautiful beech and is bathing in the sea. Fisherman comes and finds the extraordinarily beautiful cloth, plumage (Hagoromo), hanging on the pine tree. Angel notices Fisherman has her plumage and asks to give “Hagoromo” back, but fisherman refuses. With annoyance, angel decides to perform dance “Mai” in exchange of getting back the plumage. Finally, she wears “Hagoromo” and flies back to the heaven.
