Come through one of the tough spots, Satta mountain path, look back and see Mt. Fuji over Suruga bay. Can see people are peering cautiously into landscape on the left upper side. Beautifully contrast bare rock of the mountain path with calm big ocean. Said one of the masterpieces.

Who is Hiroshige Utagawa?
Hiroshige was one of the last great Ukiyo-e artists in that tradition. His art is famous for beautiful indigo blue as well as its bold contrast among Europe and America. This blue is known as Japan Blue or Hiroshige Blue. Hiroshige’s One Hundred Famous Views of Edo greatly influenced French Impressionists such as Monet. Vincent Van Gogh copied two of the One Hundred Famous Views of Edo, which were among his collection of ukiyoe prints.
